Cours Cours Intensif 10 10 heures par semaine Our Intensive Courses, which are for closed groups from 4 to 8 students per class, are of short duration and the minimum attendance is of one week. As well as the group classes, where the students can interact with their classmates, they will be able to attend individual classes in order to work on more specific needs. Préparation DELE La Casa del Español offers preparation classes for all 6 levels of the DELE exams: Beginner, Basic, Pre intermediate, Upper intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency, Cervantes Institute. The DELE preparation courses are classified according to level: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Preparation for these exams takes place in the Centre and our teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Students may sign up for private classes or group classes. Classes commence on a Monday and finish on a Friday. Hence each student commits to an agreed number of weeks of Spanish classes. Each student will do a level test in order to determine the appropriate group for the student. The preparation time for the different exams is as follows: (recommended hours, although it could vary depending on each student, all beginning from level 0) -DELE BEGINNER – A1 (60 hours) -DELE ELEMENTARY – A2 (90 hours) -DELE PRE INTERMEDIATE – B1 (120 hours) -DELE UPPER INTERMEDIATE – B2 (160 hours) -DELE ADVANCED – C1 (190) -DELE PROFICIENCY- C2 (230 hours) Accréditations Instituto Cervantes La Casa del Español, an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Centre, has been offering Spanish as a foreign language since 1986 |
 | Activités Touristique Trips with La Casa del Español La Casa del Español is located wonderfully; it is in the North of Spain, which is perfect when it comes to organising a great variety of outings around the province of Valladolid and beyond. The destinations are chosen by our students and they include: -Route 1: Wamba – Santa Espina – Urueña -Route 2: Olmedo (Mudéjar theme park) – Roman Villas – Ávila -Route 3: La Seca Wineries – Salamanca -Segovia -Salamanca -Ávila -Madrid -Bilbao -The Beach!: Santander Professional guided tours are booked in all our visits, and the guides are happy to show us around and help the students better appreciate our culture. Have a nice trip! La gastronomie Culinary activities in our kitchen Besides our excellent language classes, one of our students’ favourite activities are our cooking workshops. When we designed our new installations we knew from the start that we wanted to have a large kitchen so we could teach our students the secrets of local Spanish cuisine. Therefore, in our cooking workshops our students learn, in a practical lesson taught by a professional teacher, how to prepare a wide array of traditional dishes: Spanish omelette; ‘torrijas’, sweet fried bread; ‘huevos rotos’, similar to scrambled eggs; ‘sopa castellana’, a local soup served in winter; ‘gazpacho’, tomato soup typical of summer; paella; Valladolid’s famous ‘tapas’; etc. Our cooking workshops are organised under demand, ranging from a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 students. So, when they finish their course in La Casa del Español, our students not only take back with them a better command of the Spanish language, but also better cooking skills… both very useful in life! Wine tasting with La Casa del Español La Casa del Español also offers the possibility to organise wine-tasting sessions with professional sommeliers. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know the excellent range of wines produced in the Province of Valladolid. It is worth mentioning that some of the wines in our area are well known worldwide, the Designations of Origin of Ribera de Duero, Rueda, Cigales, Toro, among others, are rather famous. We have great variety of wine: reds, whites, rosés, sparkling and sweet wines! Our wine tasting sessions are organised under demand, ranging from a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 students per level. Depending on the number of participants the session would either take place in our own facilities or somewhere designed for that purpose. |
