The aim of this level is to enable students to interact in a simple way,: answer questions about themselves, the place where they live, the people they know and the things they possess (and to ask someone else the same questions). Students will also be able to construct simple affirmation about their immediate needs or daily issues. A2 Pre Intermediate Plain and simple language. At the end of this course, student will be able to interact in simple and usual situations of daily life (in shops, at the bank, etc.). They will be able to talk in simple terms about their past, their surroundings, and topic related with their immediate needs. they will be able to understand frequently used sentences and expressions related to areas which are relevant to them (basic information on themselves and their family, shopping, interesting places, hobbies, etc.). B1 Intermediate Understanding of everyday language . Clear expression of ideas. Sufficient knowledge to workplace activities. At the end of this course students will be able to interact and to be understood in a great variety of situations: exposing a problem, expressing their opinion, asking for explanations, set out a complaint, talking about the past and explain future events and projects. They will be able to understand the main ideas of clear and coherent texts about topics they are familiar with. They will be able to write simple and coherent texts on issue they are familiar with or of personal interest. They will be able to describe experiences, events, wishes or ambitions, as well as explaining briefly their opinions and future plans. B2 Upper Intermediate Structure of language (oral and written) . Expression safely in almost any situation and understanding of the native language partners. At the end of this level students will be able to explain and defend their opinions during a debate, to expose the advantages and disadvantages of a issue, to speculate on possible situations, to converse naturally, fluently and efficiently. They will be able to understand the principal ideas of a complex text which deals with both abstract and practical issues, taking into account their area of specialization. They will be able to communicate with native speakers with a sufficient grade of fluency and spontaneity. C1 Advance Almost total understanding including typical expressions of language. Similar to the mother tongue even in situations of complexity level. At the end of this course, students will have a linguistic repertoire that will allow them to have a fluent, wide and precise communication. They will be able to adapt themselves to different registers, and thus to communicate in different social, professional and cultural environments. They will be able to write clear, structured and detailed texts on issues of a certain complexity. C2 Proficiency Commonly spoken foreign language and accurately . Using idioms. At this level, students are able to understand easily almost everything they read or hear. They can reconstruct the information and arguments coming from different sources, both spoken and written, and present them in a coherent and concise way. They are able to express themselves spontaneously, with a great fluency and precision. They can identify and use subtle nuances of meanings. Activities The school organizes every month a variety of extra-curricular activities with cultural programs that are an essential complement to improve and complete the knowledge of Spanish culture, traditions and language. Free Services Guided tours around the city, spanish films, cultural gymkhanas, linguistic exchanges... Touristic Tour Salamanca, declarada en 1988 Patrimonio Histórico de la Humanidad y una década más tarde Capital Europea de la Cultura en 2002, posee un patrimonio histórico-artístico de indudable riqueza, que se concentra en el interior de la antigua muralla medieval, de la que aún se conservan varios tramos, de ahí que recorrer el casco antiguo resulte muy cómodo ya que se pueden realizar todos los recorridos andando. El Colegio organiza durante todo el año, como mínimo una vez a la semana, visitas guiadas por la ciudad en español o en inglés dependiendo del nivel de los estudiantes. En algunas ocasiones se realiza un recorrido general (gratuito) por la zona monumental para familiarizar al estudiante con nuestra ciudad, mientras que en otras, las visitas se centran en un monumento (Catedrales, Convento de San Esteban, Universidad, Monasterio de Santa Clara, etc.) o museo (Casa Lis, Museo de la Automoción, Museo Taurino, Casa Museo de Unamuno etc.) en particular.
