Simple, everyday phrases. Isolated words or expressions. The student: Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people they know and things they have. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. A2 Pre Intermediate Plain and simple language. The student can: -understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). - communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need. B1 Intermediate Understanding of everyday language . Clear expression of ideas. Sufficient knowledge to workplace activities. The student can: - understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. - deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken. - produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest. - describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. B2 Upper Intermediate Structure of language (oral and written) . Expression safely in almost any situation and understanding of the native language partners. The student can: - understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. - interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. - produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options. C1 Advance Almost total understanding including typical expressions of language. Similar to the mother tongue even in situations of complexity level. The curriculum used by our experienced teachers is focused on a direct communicative approach. As a result of this, the dynamic courses involve active participation from all students. (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, or Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only examination recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education. If you want a qualification that is recognised by all kinds of companies and organisations, and which certifies your level of competence in Spanish, the preparation course for the D.E.L.E exam is ideal. Complementary course to the Intensive Course (you will have 4 Spanish language classes daily plus 2 D.E.L.E preparation classes per day): Beginning of courses 2018: Every Monday of the year. Exam dates: 09/02/18, 06/04/18, 18-19/05/18, 13/07/18, 14/09/18, 08/10/18, 10/11/18 Duration: 2 - 8 weeks Levels: there are 6 levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. Extra week: 150 euros Registration for these exams must be done at least 35 days before the date of the exam, in any Spanish Consulate, or via ourselves at the Escuela Delengua. The exams will take place in Granada, on the same dates as in the rest of Spain. La Escuela Delengua es consciente de la importancia de la formación de los profesores ele, por lo que incentiva el Curso Inicial de Formación con becas y sólo acepta inscripciones/colaboraciones en el Encuentro Práctico para Profesores ELE basadas en la cultura del trueque. |
 | Activities Escuela Delengua organises daily activities that offer a deep insight into Spanish way of life. The activities also provide the chance to get to know Granada and the surrounding countryside in terms of its history, culture and tradition. Free Services Escuela Delengua organises daily activities that offer a deep insight into Spanish way of life. Activities are totally free, you just have to pay the entrance tickets to those places that requires it (like museums, buses, flamenco show tickets...). Touristic Tour -Guided visits to The Alhambra and Generalife, Granada Cathedral, The Cartuja, The Royal Chapel, Sacromonte Abbey, The Albayzín, Realejo. Culture -Lectures and chats on literature, history, art, etc. -Visits to the market in Granada or to the cinema, in small groups, accompanied by a teacher. -Spanish and Latin-American films. Gastronomy -Parties and meals with an Andalusian/Spanish flavour. -Tapas bar and Flamenco evenings are enjoyed by all our students. Dance -Sevillian and Flamenco dance classes in Granada.  | Accommodations SHARE WITH OTHER STUDENTS Room in a shared apartment. You can book accommodation in shared apartments with other students in a double or single room (for a supplement). The comfortable and spacious apartments are shared with other students. All apartments have fully equipped communal kitchens, bathrooms with hot water, washing machine and sitting rooms. Many have a patio or balcony. Bedding is provided, but bath towels are not. LIVE WITH SPANISH FAMILIES Spanish families are carefully selected by us. The price includes half board (breakfast and one meal). SHARED ACCOMMODATION WITH SPANIARDS Kitchen and living room in a shared apartment. You can stay in shared accommodation with Spaniards. This gives you the perfect opportunity to practice your Spanish! In shared apartments with Spaniards: Minimum stay 6 weeks If you are travelling alone you must book a single room. HOTEL OR GUESTHOUSE If you prefer, you can also book accommodation in a hotel, guesthouse or separate holiday apartment. The Spanish course can be booked independently, without accommodation. Additionally, those who wish to accompany students can also book accommodation. If you reserve a place in a double room and are traveling alone, we will always try and match you with someone of the same and age and gender. However, due to the fact that there is not a large number of people traveling alone who reserve a place in a double room, you may have to share the room with someone of the opposite sex and/or a different age. |
