Aimed to those who want to learn or improve their Spanish level during a brief stay in Spain. Dates:Year round (a week minimum) Frequency per week: 30 hours 10 extraacademic activities hours Levels:All Participants: Minimum 4, maximum15 Extensive Course 3 3 hours per week Month course (September – May) 540 lessons (15 hours / w.) Full board accommodation in students hall for 1 month. (Individual or double room) We offer you the chance to complete your training by doing any studies you are interested in at any nearby educational institution. Cultural activities and excursions Preparation DELE DELE: Diploma Español como Lengua Extranjera. DELE are the only official certifications recognised by the Spanish Government. Designed for those students who are interested in studying in Spain for a Master degree and/or who need the DELE certificate for finding a job, etc. Dates:Year round (a week minimum) Frequency per week: 30 hours 10 extraacademic activities hours Levels: All Participants: Minimum 4, maximum15 Teacher Training For teachers of Spanish Courses aimed at teachers wishing to learn methodology of Spanish as a foreign language or update their methodological knowledge from a theroretical and practical point of view. Dates:Year round (a week minimum) Frequency per week: 30 hours 10 extraacademic activities hours Levels: All Participants: Minimum 4, maximum15 Accreditation Instituto Cervantes Instituto Cervantes Accreditation is an integrated conditions and requirements related to academic activity and teaching staff , facilities and equipment , administrative organization and information and publicity referred to a center dedicated to the teaching of ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) indicators system. The Centers Accreditation System Cervantes Institute aims to: Promote commitment to quality and improvement of schools that offer teaching Spanish in Spain and outside of Spain . Encourage the development of a system of homogeneous teaching Spanish in their standards and with full guarantee of services and complementary activities offered . Easier for people interested in learning Spanish choosing a center that has been accredited by a state agency prestige. Our centre offers specialized programmes, DELE courses, programmes for Spanish teachers…all them individual or in groups. ILCYL is a member of Instituto Cervantes Associated Centres Network and its educational method is one following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and Instituto Cervantes Curricular Plan. We collaborate with Instituto Cervantes since 2007, when both entities signed an agreement in order to organize programmes for Spanish teachers. |
 | Activities The following extracurricular activities (included in the program at no cost) allow students to approach the geography, history, economy, artistical expressions and other aspects of the Community and Spanish culture. · Guided tour of Burgos: El Camino de Santiago in the town. · Guided visit to the Cathedral of Burgos. · Guided visit to the Monastery of the Huelgas. · Guided visit to the Cartuja de Miraflores. · Guided visit to a warehouse, includes explanations on the process of production of the wine and the different varieties. ·Visits to cultural centers, endowments and citizen services, among others, to the Art Center of Caja Burgos, La Casa del Cordón Showroom, the Province Museum of Burgos. · Go to popular parties or festivals in the town. · Go to a show and a musical in the theater. ·Visits to companies. ·A one-day excursion around the province of Burgos: Santo Domingo de Silos, Covarrubias, Lerma. ·Weekwend trip (leaving on a friday): Segovia and Madrid. |

If you take this offer you will be accommodated in San Jerónimo, in an individual room with your own bathroom. This accommodation is close to our head office (three minutes walking) and two minutes walking to Burgos Cathedral. |
