We organize trips in Barcelona for young students (12-18 years old) for over 30 years. We offer custom packages that include Spanish lessons on-site or off-site, Homestay accommodation, cultural visits as well as coordination and support 24/7 during the stay.

About the Spanish lessons

We provide custom Spanish learning for every specific need. Even for large School groups we divide the students in several classrooms in order to have a higher interaction between students and teachers. AAll the lessons are run by a well trusted, experienced teaching team, who not only performs highly engaging lessons, but also keeps an eye on the weak points of every student in order to later provide them with specific tools and exercises with which to strengthen their skills. Regarding our educational immersion programme, we use a deeply communicative approach that will allow you to get steeped in both language and local culture from your very first lesson. Our classes are also structured under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and observe the recommendations set by the Cervantes Institute.

About the accommodation

We are pleased to make you feel like home in Barcelona. Whether for a short period or a long stay, we provide comfort and secure accommodation located within a few minutes from the school and the city centre. The Homestay, that may include half board, is the best approach to taste the local lifestyle. The students may share double or triple rooms while the teachers may stay in a single room (ether sharing the apartment with other teachers or with the students). The hosts have been accurately selected and have long been trusted local families. The housing includes with Wi-Fi, keys, bedding and access to common areas, as well as meals under request.

About the activity program

Barcelona has many famous buildings and great monuments which are included in the most popular guides and routes. We know that you have probably heard about La Sagrada Familia, El Parc Güell or Las Ramblas. Although our activity program is also fully customizable, we always suggest to schedule visits not only to the main and most famous places, but also to have a different approach by letting you know about local feasts, emblematic spots and hidden corners full of history, culture, and life. Just let us go to explore together the heart and soul of our city!

Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in different contexts. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and briefly give explanations for opinions and plans.

Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

We are talking about our fastest and most effective small group learning method. The intensive courses are a great investment to finally boost your Spanish through tailored and accurate classes that include all the required approaches and contents according to each different level of learning. This program is aimed for people willing to develop their skills very quickly by attending daily lessons from Monday to Friday in a small class size. Although the Intensive courses are absolutely recommended for students from any level, it is an excellent way to start engines for those who still are beginners or absolute beginners.

Intensive 10

This is the perfect option in case you have a limited daily schedule but still are able to attend lessons from Monday to Friday in order to progress at a regular and consistent pace. Two hours a day is an excellent way to learn Spanish and also be able to mind your other daily activities. If you have a tight agenda, we strongly recommend you this course.

Extensive courses. General information.

Make the most of your limited free time. Whether you have a day job, University classes or any other duties, you still have a nice opportunity to push your Spanish further and faster by attending lessons twice a week in a small group, either 4h or 6h per week. As in the intensive courses, the extensive program is also lead by expert and qualified native teachers. We offer communicative lessons from several linguistic approaches (according to the Common European Framework of Reference). Additionally, the students get specific homework adapted to their particular profile and available time.

Conversation 3

Have you ever started a conversation in Spanish and they answered you in English? Our conversational program is developed to give you a substantial boost in both fluency and confidence when communicating with native Spanish speakers. Whether you attend the conversation lessons independently or in addition to other intensive or extensive course, as in all our courses we guarantee that you learn in a small group in order to maintain a high interaction ratio between students and teacher. Our aim is to make you improve your fluency, your structure, your vocabulary and your pronunciation, through several engaging activities, language games, short discussions on local or international current issues and events, and more. Though the lessons are mainly focused on your speaking skills rather than grammar aspects, there is always a brief space of time open to comments on the flaws detected by the teacher during each session. Moreover, these errors are individually listed in order to make you aware of your progress throughout the classes.
The course is strongly recommended for students from A2 level onwards.
