Through pre-course consultation and an analysis of your needs we design a bespoke course based on your requirements. Materials from your work can be incorporated into the course. One-to-One tuition is available at all four Sampere schools. You choose the length and intensity of your program. Summer Camps Summer courses for young people Spanish courses for juniors Junior course in Salamanca (13 - 15 years old) This special summer course for students aged 13 to 15 combines Spanish study with a holiday in the historical university city of Salamanca. Spanish lessons in small classes are combined with activities and excursions to provide students with the opportunity to experience a new culture and make international friends. During the 3 hour daily classes, students study and practice all aspects of the Spanish language: grammar, composition, vocabulary and, most of all, conversation. Students receive a diploma at the end of the course. Spanish courses for Teens Teen course in Salamanca (16 - 18 years old) The Teen Course was launched in June 2008 due primarily to the many requests received from former Junior Program participants who were then 16 or 18 years old and were looking forward to returning to study in Salamanca with us. This course is designed for Teenagers, between 16 and 18 years, who want to learn or improve their Spanish learned at high school or for their own personal enjoyment. Classes are held daily and homework is always assigned. Teachers are demanding and only Spanish is spoken in the classroom. During their daily 3-hour classes, students study and practice all aspects of the Spanish language: grammar and composition, vocabulary and conversation. Students receive a Diploma at the end of the course. Courses Intensive Course 10 10 Hours per week Intensive Plus Course 20 group lessons 5 or 10 one-to-one lessons per week The Intensive Plus Course course is designed for students who want to learn Spanish in a very short period of time and would like to focus on their specific language problems. On this course, you will take part in the Intensive Spanish Course and additionally receive 5 or 10 One-to-One lessons per week The Intensive Spanish classes aim to develop the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as improve grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. During the additional one-to-one lessons, you will get intensive practice in Spanish and focus on your specific needs. Starting Dates Every Monday Students who have already studied Spanish can start on any Monday. There are specific starting dates for complete beginners Number of students Max. 9 in Spain. Estudio Sampere pays individual attention to each student. Therefore, Estudio Sampere guarantees to offer Spanish classes in small groups all year round. The average group size is between 6 and 8 students. There will never be more than 9 students in any group. Intensive Course 20 20 Hours per week The Intensive course is available for a variety of levels from complete beginner up to advanced. The course takes place from Monday to Friday and consists of 20 group lessons of 45 minutes each per week. This course aims to develop the four main Spanish language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as to improve grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Our classes focus on communication, which will enable students to enrich their vocabulary, to improve their fluency and to become more confident when using the language. 50 Plus Courses for adults from 50 years This special course is designed for senior students, aged 50 and up, who not only want to improve their Spanish level, but also want to spend a pleasant and cultural vacation in Spain. Students will be placed, according to the placement test, in mixed groups and in the other part of the day they will participate in special activities designed for this age group. There are three levels available for Senior students: A2-Elementary, B1-Lower Intermediate, and B2-Upper Intermediate. Students with other levels (advanced and proficiency) can also attend. Accreditation Instituto Cervantes Instituto Cervantes Accreditation is an integrated conditions and requirements related to academic activity and teaching staff , facilities and equipment , administrative organization and information and publicity referred to a center dedicated to the teaching of ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) indicators system. The Centers Accreditation System Cervantes Institute aims to: Promote commitment to quality and improvement of schools that offer teaching Spanish in Spain and outside of Spain . Encourage the development of a system of homogeneous teaching Spanish in their standards and with full guarantee of services and complementary activities offered . Easier for people interested in learning Spanish choosing a center that has been accredited by a state agency prestige. The Cervantes Institute is a worldwide organization created by the Spanish government in 1991. This organization is responsible for promoting the study and the teaching of Spanish language and culture. All Estudio Sampere schools in Spain (Madrid, Salamanca and Alicante) are accredited by the Cervantes Institute. |
Activities The Teen Course includes and Junior Course includes cultural lessons, sports and many other activities at no extra cost. A different activity is planned for each day except Sunday, including: visits to museums, group events, a day at the swimming pool and excursions and field trips outside Salamanca. Meeting young people from other countries is a rewarding part of the program, broadening the students' view of the world. The activities allow and encourage these contacts. All activities are supervised by Estudio Sampere personnel. |
Accommodations The Teen Course and Junior Course includes: Accommodation - host family Accommodation and food are a very important part of the Spanish experience. Our families are carefully selected and each one has been visited. Two students share a room. Some families have children of their own and students take part in family life. The families live near the school - 10 to 20 minutes on foot . All three main meals are included. Students receive a packed lunch with sandwiches and fruit on excursion or pool days. Estudio Sampere ensures that the meals are healthy and balanced. It is essential to note any special dietary requirements on the registration form. Accommodation - residence In July and August, students can also chose to stay in a residence instead of with a host family. It offers double rooms (max 40 students), with buffet-style full board and laundry facilities. In the residence, two computers for the students and wi-fi (wireless) connection are also available. |
