Our courses are aimed at executives and professionals with full-time work schedules and are developed and customized to address the needs of working professionals with flexibility in class size, time and duration. Our instructors will go to your place of work and provide one-to-one or group classes within a convenient schedule. We also offer the possibility of receiving this training at home or in our center. Preparation DELE DELE: Diploma Español como Lengua Extranjera. 2 - 4 weeks sociocultural immersion. n order to help you reach your objectives, we have designed a course that includes a week of intensive Spanish lessons and an additional week to learn the specific contents of the DELE examination, during which you’ll be given sample examination papers by your teacher to help ensure success. Students can extend the DELE course as many weeks as needed to achieve their desired language level, and even apply for the “DELE IN COMPANY” course which offers a personalized program tailored to suit individual needs. Instructors will personally guide students as they progress toward the completion of an official title. Students can enroll for exams and our preparation course directly in our center in a fast and convenient way.  | Activities In order to complement the academic offer of the students attending Escuela de Español Activo within a practice of linguistic immersion, we offer a variety of activities that will help to broaden the contents studied in class, and also to gain insights into the rich, cultural and historical heritage of the city of Seville through the experience. Free Services ORIENTATION TOUR This tour is intended for new students. Helped by our local staff, we’ll have a walk through Seville’s historic quarter, visiting the city’s landmarks such as the Plaza España, Plaza Nueva, Santa Cruz quarter and Arenal quarter. We’ll also become acquainted with the surroundings of our school while briefing on means of transport, leisure and interesting information for your stay in Seville. Touristic Tour ORIENTATION TOUR This tour is intended for new students. Helped by our local staff, we’ll have a walk through Seville’s historic quarter, visiting the city’s landmarks such as the Plaza España, Plaza Nueva, Santa Cruz quarter and Arenal quarter. VISIT TO THE CATHEDRAL The cathedral is a World Heritage site since 1987 and an exceptional example of gothic architecture. Its tower the “Giralda” is the symbol of Seville. We’ll learn about the origins of the building and its history, while reviewing the most peculiar details regarding its construction. Needless to say, we’ll climb to the top of the tower to enjoy spectacular views of the city. VISITING TRIANA Just by crossing to the other side of Guadalquivir River we’ll be visiting the famous Triana quarter. On our way we’ll cross the Triana Bridge, visit the Santa Ana church and the San Jorge castle. During this guided tour through its picturesque and narrow streets, our guide we’ll explain us the history of the most legendary quarter in Seville: its origins, the arrival of gypsy people, the Flamenco, the history of sailors, or even about the life in the “Corralones” (a sort of tenement with inner courtyard). The visit ends at the Mercado de Abastos, the local wholesale food market. VISITING ITALICA We strongly recommend this visit to all newcomers to our courses so they can get a general idea of the strategic power and economic importance of the city of Seville by means of the archaeological remains of the ancient roman city. GUIDED VISIT TO THE ROYAL ALCAZAR OF SEVILLA We’ll visit one of the best-preserved heritage buildings in Seville. It is a fortress which has been adapted to different times and cultures. There we’ll found a very suggesting mix of artistic styles which will lead us to learn plenty of stories. VISITING SANTA CRUZ QUARTER Surrounded by prominent buildings such as the Cathedral and the Royal Alcazar, we’ll enjoy this guided visit through the twisted and narrow streets of the ancient Jewish quarter. Our proposal consists of visiting the most unique corners of the quarter and let ourselves get carried away by its legends. Culture JAM SESSION Experience the most authentic live music corners in Seville. We can bring you to those concerts not included in leisure official guides, where musicians play and jam together introducing the audience to their particular musical lab. Jazz, rock, blues, reggae and many other music styles can be found in weekly scheduled sessions. Check with us for the next date and location Gastronomy TAPAS TOUR We’ll tour the most well-known tapas bars in Seville helped by our local guide. That way we’ll enjoy the best dishes and get to know more about gastronomic culture. GASTRONOMIC TASTING SESSION This activity features a tasting session of many products common to the traditional gastronomy of Andalusia, such as the olive oil, cheese and Iberian ham. We will learn the traditional process of production, as well as their importance at the table. We will also learn how to buy a quality product at a good price. PAELLA Dance FLAMENCO SHOW Dive into the world of Flamenco attending to a high quality show where you’ll enjoy from the best music and professional “bailaores” (flamenco dancers). FLAMENCO COURSE If you want to be up to date and enjoy Seville’s April Fair, don’t miss the opportunity to learn how to dance “sevillanas”. Sports KAYAK RIDE BY THE RIVER We’ll enjoy a ride on a kayak by the Guadalquivir River while learning a bit more about the city history from another point of view. We’ll understand the importance of Seville in the history of navigation whilst practicing sport. BIKE RIDE THROUGH SEVILLE Taking advantage of the city’s great bike lane network and good weather, we propose you to ride a bike through Seville so you’ll discover the city’s landmarks during one afternoon. This ride is just the perfect way to get used to the city during the first days of your stay. Along the visit, a local guide will provide you with very useful information on restaurants, tapas bars, leisure, nightlife or whatever else you want to ask. HIKING AT THE SIERRA DE ARACENA Y PICOS DE AROCHE NATURE RESERVE We suggest you to leave the city and change the scenery visiting the second largest Nature Reserve in Andalusia, the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche. We’ll get to know a unique landscape, the Dehesa -the pasture where Iberian pigs are bred- and two towns: Linares de la Sierra and Aracena. For the curious minds, we’ll offer a truly remarkable experience: a visit to the Gruta de las Maravillas (Grotto of the Marvels).
