Summer programme for teenagers (14-18)
It is well-known how important learning foreign languages is in order to face the future with good prospects. Learning Spanish is a safe bet, widening your career options and helping you grow as a person. Spanish is the third most-spoken language in the world and has a rich cultural and educational patrimony.

Thinking about the future, especially for your young ones at home, Top School has a summer programme for teenagers aged 15-18 during the months of July and August (minimum 2 weeks). It is a course designed so that these youngsters enjoy their summer while at the same time learn Spanish. The package includes 15 classes of Spanish per week combined with a host of activities and free time so that fun is ensured.

The students on this summer programme will stay with families in Elche (Alicante), on a full-board basis (breakfast, lunch and evening meal). This type of accommodation is the best way for the student to be fully immersed in Spanish life and to feel at home in their new city.

Elche is the perfect city to spend the summer in as it has a lot to offer visitors. It is well-connected, only 15 minutes from the beach, another 15 from the airport, has a fantastic climate all year round, several museums and other leisure activities.

Term or academic year in a Spanish high school

This programme provides an excellent opportunity for teenagers who want to learn and improve their Spanish. Our Spanish school at Top School has designed a programme so that foreign students have the chance to spend a semester, trimester or a whole school year in a Spanish high school.

The students on this programme will go to school like the rest of normal Spanish students. The course consists of 6-7 hours of class per day, from 8 a.m.- 2/3 p.m. Should they so wish, in the afternoons students can receive an extra hour or two of Spanish classes at Top School. The classes are taught by highly-qualified, experienced native teachers whose objective is to provide students with the necessary communicative tools for them to get on and make the most of their stay here in Spain, and putting their Spanish into practice in daily situations.

With a view to immersing the students further in Spanish life and culture, they will live with host families on a full-board basis. At Top School, we guarantee that a student will never be housed with another from the same country or who speaks the same language. Where possible, we will also do our utmost to place them in families with children of a similar age, thus allowing potential friendships to flourish. Living with a Spanish family is the best way to perfect the language and our students will take part in all their activities, events, general daily life, etc, thus becoming another member of the family. This will help them to adapt quickly to life here in Elche and to the Spanish way of life.

Top School’s intensive course offers 20 lessons per week of Spanish as a foreign language, that will take place from Monday to Friday with a break of 15 minutes.
The minimum length of the course is one week. This Spanish course has been designed in order to make students undersand, grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, etc., at the same time as they get know Spanish culture and traditions.

This Spanish course for overseas students in Spain consists of 6 lessons of Spanish per day with two 15-minute breaks. The minimum length of this course is one week. The DELE (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language) is an official certificate, issued by the Instituto Cervantes in the name of the Spanish Ministry of Education, which recognises competence and knowledge in Spanish.

The Top School DELE course is a combination of our 30-lesson intensive course with preparation of the DELE Exam. 5 hours in total per day, with 4 hours of general Spanish plus 1 hour of exam preparation.
