 | Spanish Schools in Spain Private Lessons The Private course can be booked in any level: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. It is given all year round. Starting dates: any Monday. The private course can be booked in the morning or in the afternoon. There is a price difference. It consist of one-to-one tuition: 1 student, 1 teacher. The student can choose his preferred subject for his lessons. All classes pertaining to bank holidays are made up during the same week with one more hour on the other working days. 1 tuition hour: 50 minutes. Tuition is given only in Spanish. There is no booking fee. Tuition material, certificates and diplomas are not included in the price. Online Courses The on-line course is offered in levels A1 and A2. Starting dates: any time. Each level consists of 10 units with audio explanations, grammar and exercises. The levels follow the contents given in our Standard course. Some parts contain short translations to facilitate the student's learning. No tuition material is needed. Only a notebook is required to complete some written exercises. A certificate cannot be issued for this course. Courses Intensive Course 20 20 Hours per week The Course20 (standard course) consists of 20 tuition hours/week in general Spanish given Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. It is given all year round in levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. *Level C1 is given from October to March. This level is also given all year round as a private or semiprivate course. Length of levels: 4 to 5 weeks. C1 consists of two blocks of 4 to 5 weeks each. Starting dates for beginners: first Monday of every month. Beginners with some knowledge can join the group one or two weeks later. Starting dates for other levels: any Monday. The course can be booked as of 1 week. Groups consist of maximum 12 students (in 2017) or 14 students (in 2018). All classes pertaining to bank holidays are made up during the same week with one more hour on the other working days. 1 tuition hour: 50 minutes. Tuition is given only in Spanish. There is no booking fee. Tuition material, certificates and diplomas are not included in the price. The Course 20 (standard course) can be prolongued with 5 or 10 Extra hours/day. Intensive Course 30 30 hours per week The Course30 consists of 20 tuition hours/week given Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm as general Spanish in the Course20 10 hours PC-course or as private tuition with a teacher. It is given all year round in levels A1 to B2 in the Course20 and private lessons, and A1-A2 in the PC-course. *Level C1 is given from October to March. This level is also given all year round as a private or semiprivate course. Length of levels: 4 to 5 weeks. C1 consists of two blocks of 4 to 5 weeks each. Starting dates for beginners: first Monday of every month. Beginners with some knowledge can join the group one or two weeks later. Starting dates for other levels: any Monday. There is no booking fee. Tuition material, certificates and diplomas are not included in the price. Preparation DELE DELE: Diploma Español como Lengua Extranjera. The DELE preparation course is given as a private course all year round in 6 levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Starting dates: first Monday of every month. Lenght: 20 horas minimum. The maximum depends on the student's needs, who will be advised by the teacher. The course can be booked in the morning or in the afternoon. There is a price difference. The course is taught by a teacher with specific training as a DELE examiner. All classes pertaining to bank holidays are made up during the same week with one more hour on the other working days. 1 tuition hour: 50 minutes. Tuition is given only in Spanish. There is no booking fee. Tuition material, certificates and diplomas are not included in the price. |
 | Activities Touristic Tour The school organizes a weekly excursion to the most beautiful and interesting places on the island. May it be the North coast or the inner villages, you will be amazed by nature's generosity with Gran Canaria. These excursions are paid separately by those participants who have not booked our accommodation. Gastronomy Tapa-Tour: A visit to Vegueta, the old colonial quarter of the city, by the hand of one of our teachers. After the visit you can taste the local specialties and enjoy a glass beer or wine. The Tapa-Tour is paid separately, it takes place on Fridays and requires a minimum number of 5 participants. Transportation and dinner are included. Sports Surf course: Gran Canaria SurfGran Canaria Surf Quicksilver Sponsor We collaborate with the nearby Quiksilver surf school, thus we offer you the possibility to combine your Spanish course with a surf course. The surf course can be booked by hours. It takes place in the afternoons and weekends. The surf board and the wet-suit are provided by the surf school. Just don't forget your swim wear! Spanish and scuba diving We collaborate with the nearby diving club and school Buceo Canarias, thus we offer you the possibility to combine your Spanish course with a surf course. Absolute beginners and experts can participate in the diving course. The course can book in the afternoons and weekends. The diving school provides all the equipment: wet suit, ballast belt, regulator and oxygen bottle. Do not forget your bathing suit, towel and dry clothes. |
 | Accommodations Staying in any of the residences of Gran Canaria School offers you the advantage of living with the other students of the school and sharing their company during meals and excursions. This facilitates friendship between all of them and puts into practice the use of Spanish as a common language, as excursions, groups and gatherings to go out for dinners, meetings on the beach, car rental, hiking, etc, will be composed of students of different levels and nationalities. Thus, although you may only visit the school for 1 to 2 weeks, you will not feel lonely because you will be integrated from the first day in the group of all students living in the residence. The Gran Canaria School's policy is not only to teach efficiently but to create a club of lovers of the Spanish language which will result that your stay will not only be profitable but will also make you feel happy during your stay with us.
