The Courses in Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Zaragoza are run throughout the year in Zaragoza, while in the summer they are transferred to the tourist resort of Jaca (Huesca) in the Pyrenees.

The University of Zaragoza is a pioneer in teaching Spanish to foreign students since 1927. It has agreements with a number of public and private institutions around the world, working directly with various official bodies to promote the Spanish language (the Cervantes Institute, the Education Office of a number of Spanish embassies, the Aragon Regional Government, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport).

The University of Zaragoza is recognised worldwide, as is demonstrated by the high number of foreign students attending the various co-operation programmes in which it participates (Sócrates-Erasmus, Tempus, ALPA, Asia-Link, Leonardo, etc.).

Its Courses in Spanish, attended by more than 1,200 students a year and in which all teachers have a high philological expertise in teaching ELE, are integrated into these programmes and, in addition, they organise specific courses for foreign Universities which request them.

The headquarters of ELE Courses in Zaragoza is an Oficial Examination Center for the Diploma of Spanish DELE, The International Spanish Language Evaluation Service (acronym in Spanish: SIELE) and the Test of Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain (CCSE), by delegation Instituto Cervantes.

Intensive Course 30

30 hours per week

Cursos intensivos de 60 horas (45 horas lectivas y 15 horas no presenciales)

Horario habitual: de 17:00 a 20:15 h (180 minutos, con 15 minutos de descanso). Cf. Información de interés.

- Se impartirán contenidos gramaticales, funcionales, léxicos y socioculturales.

- Para trabajar estos contenidos se integrarán en las clases:

Competencias comunicativas: lingüística, discursiva, estratégica y sociolingüística.
Programaciones con un enfoque comunicativo y centradas en el alumno.
Tareas de comprensión, expresión e interacción oral y escrita.

- Antes del comienzo de cada curso, los alumnos realizarán una prueba en línea (fuera del horario lectivo), que servirá para distribuirlos en el nivel idiomático que les corresponda, según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas (MCER).

- Precio del curso: 240 €. Incluye la enseñanza, el material empleado en las clases, las tasas de examen y el certificado de aprovechamiento. Los alumnos Erasmus de la Universidad de Zaragoza (salvo Erasmus en prácticas) podrán beneficiarse de un descuento de 75 € tras su debida acreditación.

- Grupos reducidos: entre 8 alumnos como mínimo y 20 como máximo.

- Este curso tiene reconocido 1 crédito ECTS por la Universidad de Zaragoza (para estudiantes extranjeros del programa Erasmus y otros estudiantes extranjeros).
