Spanish Schools in Spain Private Lessons School Trips Schools, institutes, student groups This course is planned for teenagers between 13 and 17 years old (both inclusive). You can choose among 2, 3 or 4 weeks and there are special starting dates. Level Coures A1 Elementary Basic level. Simple, everyday phrases. Isolated words or expressions. Users exchange brief information with questions and answers, within a clear and concrete communicative context. (DELE A1) A2 Pre Intermediate Plain and simple language. Users understand, communicate and express themselves in spoken and written Spanish, using a simple language in daily situations and cultural aspects. (DELE A2) B1 Intermediate Understanding of everyday language . Clear expression of ideas. Sufficient knowledge to workplace activities. Users understand and are able to express themselves in communicative contexts, in their everyday life, knowing how to solve problems by themselves. (DELE B1) B2 Upper Intermediate Structure of language (oral and written) . Expression safely in almost any situation and understanding of the native language partners. Users understand and express themselves in general situations where there is an exchange of information. They express personal attitudes on subjects that are familiar for them or iwhich they are interested in and they speak about their experiences too. (DELE B2) C1 Advance Almost total understanding including typical expressions of language. Similar to the mother tongue even in situations of complexity level. Users understand and express themselves in different situations with complex linguistic structures – still controlled -, with fluency and in a spontaneous way. (DELE C1) C2 Proficiency Commonly spoken foreign language and accurately . Using idioms. Users express themselves in an suitable form in any situation, controlling linguistic and cultural elements of a native speaker and discerning meaning nuances. (DELE C2) Courses Teacher Training For teachers of Spanish The teacher training course is a two week course with 20 lessons / week and it is offered not only for teachers with a proficiency level of Spanish but also for teachers with other levels of the language or students who want to become teachers. 50 Plus Courses for adults from 50 years These courses are drawn up for people from 50 years old who wish to learn or improve their Spanish. |
Activities IMSOL-Granada offers the student a wide range of activities to carry out during your Spanish Course. A daily programme that not only helps you to learn the language, but that also creates different contexts in which you can practise it, making easier the immersion in the reality surronding him. This programme is complemented with different excursions at the week-end. Moreover, there are always many things to do and see: concerts, festivals, museums etc. We will also inform you about every event taking place in Granada during your stay. Free Services Actvities included in the course price: -On Mondays, we invite you to a city guided tour. Walk through the most interesting areas with a guide’s explanation. We will visit the most emblematic districts, the old areas, discovering courios details about the history and the legends of the origins of the towns: Albaicín, Realejo and Sacromonte quarters, historical city centre, legends’ tour, churches’ tour, etc.; -In order to improve the 4 language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), every week we organize workshops in writing, phonetics, music,etc.; or debates on current events; activities that will also put students in contact with the nowadays reality of Spain: Workshops and Monographs about Spanish and Latin-American history, culture, literature. -As a complement to the lessons, every week we offer 2 different levels of tutorials about real situations (“En el Aeropuerto”, “En los grandes Almacenes”, etc.) and about grammar, dealing with the most difficult points of the Spanish language (“Ser y Estar”, “Preposiciones”, “Por y Para”, “Diferencias entre los pasados”, etc.) Touristic Tour Excursions. The organization of these trips is made by IMSOL in collaboration with professional agencies, specialized in this kind of activities. They will be guided excursions and the prices include: transport, guide, entrances to the museums and individual insurance. Every week we organize excursions to places of tourist and cultural interest, such as: -Sevilla -Córdoba -Costa Tropical/Pueblos Blancos -La Alpujarra -Morocco -etc… Culture Visits to some museums, monuments and shows which you have to pay for, with a guide of the school: visit to the Alhambra and Generalife; visit to the House-Museum García Lorca in Huerta de San Vicente and in Fuente Vaqueros and to the House-Museum Manuel de Falla; visit to the Royal Chapel and the Cathedral; La Zambra Museum; Flamenco shows. Guitar course, both flamenco and classic tunes. Gastronomy Tapas’ Tour: This is the most popular activity among students. Granada province is well-known all over the world for its tapas; it is not only a tradition, but also a way of life. Students will go to different bars, where for each drink you can taste one tapa for free (for example: a portion of tortilla española, potatoes, fish, meat in different styles, etc.). In this activity, students will pay for what they drink. Cooking Workshops: you will learn how to cook the main dishes of the Spanish cookery and then enjoy tasting them together. The programme of activities is NOT obligatory, so a minimum number of participants is required for carrying them out. Dance -Sevillanas course, a typical Andalusian dance comprising four parts. -Flamenco course. Sports -Horse Riding. -Skiing Course in Sierra Nevada. |
Accommodations If required, we can arrange accommodation for students in Granada acting as intermediary, with the guarantee that it will be ready for your arrival. General Conditions for the accommodation: -The week’s stay begins on the Sunday before the start of the course and ends on the Saturday just after the end of it. -Supplements: Extra Nights: The price for extra nights (arrival before or departure after the established dates) depends on the type of accommodation. Accompanying Person: It is possible to come with an “accompanying person”, who does not wish to take part in any course but need accommodation. This person will pay for the accommodation he/she chooses an extra (see price list) and can take part in all the extra activities organized by the school. -Arrival time: About after 16.00 h -Departure time: Before 12.00 h -Every participant will receive all the necessary for the bed (pillow, sheets, blankets etc.) but not towels and products for personal hygiene. -The average distance from the apartments to our school is about 15-20 minutes. Instituto Mediterráneo Sol offers the following types of accommodation: -Shared apartment: Our apartments are full equipped: Bedrooms have: bed, bedsheets, wardrobe, table and chair. Students just have to bring their own towels. Common areas: -Living room with TV, DVD, TDT a place to sit and eat; -Kitchen with fridge, washing machine, cooker/stove; -Bathroom. -Home Stay accommodation: half board (two meals: breakfast, lunch or dinner) or full board (three meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner), single or double room. A washing of clothes per week is included. Bedsheets are included and students just have to bring their own towels. It is necessary to include in the enrollment any kind of allergies, nutritional habits, if smoker or not etc. -Hotel/Hostal and individual apartment booking: If required, Instituto Mediterráneo Sol can also arrange this kind of accommodation. Prices depend on requirements. |
